Emergency bookings

If an ambulance is not required and there is no available appointment, please call reception so we can do our best to organise an appointment with your doctor.

Consultation Fees 

All doctors at Zest Medical Consulting suites are independent medical practitioners. This means that they are operating as independent medical businesses within the clinic. Several medical practitioners have their own websites, which provide more information.

The independent medical practitioners determine their own appointment types, availability and fees.

Opening hours

Monday – Friday 8:30am – 5:30pm

Tuesday and Thursday evenings until 7pm (depending on doctor availability)

Saturday 9am – 12pm

Some Sundays and Public Holidays

Zest Medical Consulting Suites are located at 228 High Street Ashburton 3147, on the corner of Ward Street and High Street

After hours appointments

After hours appointments are dependent on the individual doctor and their availability. To enquire or arrange a booking please call our friendly reception team to discuss.

Home visits

Home visits are at the discretion of the treating doctor.

Please enquire with reception about whether your doctor can provide this service.

Test results / follow up

It is best to discuss with your doctor how you will receive your results at the time of your appointment.

You can request a telehealth appointment or receive an SMS if your results are normal.

Abnormal results require an appointment.

Cancellation policy

Please provide 24 hours’ notice for all cancellations.

Appointments cancelled within this time frame are likely to incur a cancellation fee at the discretion of the treating doctor.

Updating personal details

Please ensure Zest Medical Consulting Suites has your most up-to-date contact details.
This is important in managing your health as you may need to be contacted regarding important health issues.

You can update your details by dropping into our clinic or by calling our reception team.

Access to your medical records

Patients are entitled to their own medical records.

Please allow reasonable administration time for this.

An administration fee of $30 will be charged.
